The Faughanvale Flyers soared to new heights today, claiming the Northern Ireland Cross Country Boys' title. Held at the Billy Neil Centre of Excellence in Dundonald, the six boys: Shea, Jude, Orrin, Hugh, Ben & Joe powered home as the fastest collective team. In the girls' race our Primary 5 pupil Skye ran as an individual competitor coming home 49th in a 152 strong field.
We are extremely proud of all of our pupils for the commitment and dedication to the sport over the past few months. It was a prize richly deserved.
