National Maths Week takes place this week and the subject will be celebrated and promoted throughout our classes. As per the note that went home on Friday, we are holding a ‘Maths Eyes’ photography competition. The idea behind this concept is to encourage everyone to think of the abundance of maths in our everyday lives and full details on the competition can be found in the letter. Over the coming week the children will be encouraged to use their maths eyes at home and examples of maths eyes photos will be posted on our Facebook. We’re looking forward to seeing what our school community comes up with!
